I was born in the early nineties in Southern Germany. I graduated as a Bachelor of Engineering, followed by Master of Science. While working in Power Engineering, including Research & Development, photography became more and more serious. Finally, I became a professional in full time.
Besides photography and traveling in solitude, I like to spend much time outdoors, and find pleasure in movies, reading, writing, and music.
Initially, I started landscape photography as a kind of challenge. I was searching for unique moments in nature, and to be the only one who witnessed, and photographed them. Photography was a possibility to experience silence, and the beauty of pristine nature. Precisely, the remaining nature, far apart from modern-day society, and the impact we have to this earth.
Nowadays, with writing as well as photography, I’m also trying to express how this life has been, and felt like. This artistic aspect probably is what keeps me doing it the most. I’m inclined to think it is about loneliness. Maybe everything is.
